Uncomfortably hot in the store during my last few visits. It definitely cuts down on the shopping time but the employees are really nice and helpful. Just thought I'd let you know as it helps to keep the store cool when shopping for goodies.

I always love doing business with Academy Sports!! Their employees are so helpful, courteous, and cheerful. They make exchanges and returns easy, with no questions asked. I always feel respected and valued. Very excited to have a new location close to where I live!

It was my first visit to the store, I was asked if I needed help by a handful of employees. I came there for plastic protectors for baseball cards and ended up walking out with a pair of steel toed boots that I got a really good price on. Also signed up for a credit card in the hopes that I could get $30 for my purchase in return if accepted. All in all I would say it was the best sports store I've been in since I've been in the state of Tennessee.

The store was very clean and everything was very well organized. I had never been there before so I had some trouble finding what I was looking for, but an employee was kind enough to help me find it. The only reason I am leaving three stars, intended to be an average review as opposed to low, is because that store was unbearably hot. It makes for a rather unpleasant experience, but more importantly, my heart goes out to the people who have to work in that. That is not OK for them and we are not even in the hottest part of summer yet. I really hope this issue is addressed and that whoever is in charge of the thermostat can turn it down a notch when it gets hot. Employees will be happier and more productive Customers will be happier to shop for longer and more inclined to try clothes on.

As i was christmas shopping for my family i felt profiled.I went to the fishing area to look for a fishing rod. i was trying to pick out the right one for a cousin of mine. I NOTICED 7 employees watching us. the entire time . I felt uncomfortable and when we was looking for clothes they also followed us. Mind u while they were doing that the alarm went off bc someone stole something but since we’re a different race they wanted to profile us. The bathrooms were horrible . 1 person on cashier. while they had 7 people following us through out the store .They could have someone to help the cashier and cleaned the restroom. i spent 200 that day and that’s the last time we are going there.
